I am a native Nashvillian which has become rare as our city grows and a graduate of the historic Pearl High School.  Shelia and I have been married 33 years and have raised 5 children, Nikki, Shorntai, Christian, Donovan and Chelese. I have been employed with Crystal Springs bottled water for 18 years and enjoy sharing the love of Christ as I deliver water to many places daily.

I became a Christian in 1981 through the Inner City Ministry of Nashville and began teaching and leading bus routes for teenagers through this ministry and quickly fell in love with teaching God’s people. Other ministries that I have been involved in include leading a house church for 10 years and serving on staff with the Antioch Church of Christ as outreach minister for 6 years.  I have had the opportunity to do mission work in Russia, Guam, Austria, and Croatia as well as spending two weeks experiencing the land of Israel and Greece and seeing places that I’ve have read about in the Bible. This experience really made the joy of reading the scriptures even more real than ever before.

My journey with The Nations Church began in January of 2012 and I have had the opportunity to work with our children’s ministry, hospitality,  security and the leadership team as well as preaching when our lead pastor is away.  I have also helped lead a small group alongside Dean Blucker which has been a highlight of my week for many years.

I am looking forward to serving and assisting other believers to grow deeper in the faith as we walk this journey together in Christ.
