I have the privilege of being married to my wonderful bride of almost 30 years, Robyn McKelvy. We have 10 incredible children whose ages range from 28 all the way down to 10. Most people respond with either surprise or pity. Robyn and I couldn’t be happier or more delighted to be the parents of a small baseball team or basketball team for that matter. As far as gender, the girls win! 6 girls and 4 boys. I keep thinking that somehow we need to even out the score ☺

I am a graduate of Carver Baptist Bible Institute, Calvary Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary and served as a church planting pastor of a cross-cultural church in Kansas City MO for almost 10 years. 

I have the privilege of being the Lead Pastor of our church plant, Christ for the Nations Church. I have been a full-time pastor for over 30 years now and have loved every minute of it, (well, honestly…there have been some moments I could have done without; come talk to me and I will share some stories). I have been a Worship Pastor, Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Church-Planting Pastor, Small Groups Pastor, Young Adult Pastor and Lead Pastor. My favorite though is being the Pastor of my family.

Robyn and I also travel and speak for Family Life’s Weekend to Remember Marriage Conferences. We have enjoyed doing this now for over 23 years.

I came to faith in Christ as a Freshman in High School; thanks to the bold witness of my Drama Teacher, Carolyn.

I have to admit that I am kind of a music, drama, theater nerd. Love books, reading, walking and   vigorous exercise; deep talks about life and theology. I love listening to other people’s journeys and how they became the people they are. I also, truly enjoy hanging out with my wife and kids.

I have a passion to see you grow strong in your relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ and to have an authentic and real walk with Christ!
